Kiwi bride's Manly home revealed as Airbnb rental
In the latest season of Married At First Sight Australia, contestant Jacqui Burfoot has come under scrutiny for using an Airbnb during the show's Homestays week. Burfoot, a 29-year-old from New Zealand, appeared on the show with her husband, Ryan Donnelly. In a recent episode, she was shown arriving at what was presented as her home in Manly, a wealthy suburb in Sydney. She entered the property carrying a suitcase while the narrator referred to it as “Jacqui’s home.” However, after the episode aired, the Daily Mail revealed that the property is actually an Airbnb rental available for AU$200 (approximately $219) per night. Burfoot has responded to the criticism. She explained on Instagram that she chose the rental for reasons of “security and privacy,” stating it was important to her as a single lady.
