KKR and RR lose right-to-match option in IPL 2025 auction in Jeddah

The IPL mega auction 2025 will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25. This auction features 366 Indian players and 208 overseas cricketers, with bidding expected for stars like Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul. Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals cannot use the right-to-match (RTM) option because they retained their full quota of six players. Other franchises still have the RTM option available to them. The auction will start at 3:30 PM IST for marquee players and continue until 10:30 PM IST. Mallika Sagar will lead the auction proceedings.
