KL Rahul joins Delhi Capitals for INR 14 crore in IPL 2025 mega auction

KL Rahul has been sold to Delhi Capitals for INR 14 crore during the 2025 Indian Premier League mega auction in Jeddah on November 24. Several teams, including Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, competed for him. Rahul was released by Lucknow Super Giants before the auction. He had been with LSG since 2022 and led the team to the playoffs twice. The 32-year-old has played for multiple teams in the IPL, including Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings. He has scored 4,683 runs in 132 matches, with an average of 45.46.
