Kolkata's temperatures rising, no rain expected soon

Kolkata is expecting dry weather in the coming days, according to the Met office. There are no more rain forecasts for the city, and sunny days are on the way. Temperatures are likely to rise gradually as well. Recently, Kolkata experienced some cloudy skies and a few rain spells. This weather helped cool the city, bringing the maximum temperature down to 25.5°C on Saturday. This is significantly lower, by about nine degrees, than what is normal for this time of year. The minimum temperature also dropped below the usual range after being higher than normal for 13 straight days. On Sunday, the minimum temperature fell further to 20.6°C, down from 21.1°C the day before. A Met official noted that there are no significant thundershowers predicted soon. The rise in temperatures will occur slowly rather than quickly.
