'Koragajja' film music generates strong industry interest

The film "Koragajja," directed by Sudheer Athavara, has completed its shooting and is set to release soon. The movie focuses on the Koragajja deity and features music composed by Gopi Sundar. He considers this project one of his most cherished works. At a press conference in Kochi, Gopi Sundar expressed his joy about the soundtrack. He said the music is special because it required deep understanding of the film's themes, which are rooted in faith and culture. He took his time to compose the tunes after extensive research. Director Sudheer Athavara praised Gopi's work, noting that the music exceeded his expectations. Gopi mentioned that the film inspired him to try new musical styles. He believes the music has a unique depth, making it special to him. The soundtrack includes six songs sung by well-known artists, such as Shreya Ghoshal and Shankar Mahadevan. The lyrics are written in multiple languages to reach a wider audience. One song even includes parts of the Shiva Tandava Stotram, which left Javed Ali impressed after recording. There is strong competition among leading audio companies to acquire the film's music rights. Producer Trivikram Sapalya confirmed the high interest in the soundtrack from major labels across India.
