Kremlin says Putin will not congratulate Trump on election victory

The Kremlin announced it will not congratulate Donald Trump on his claimed victory in the US presidential election. President Vladimir Putin's administration will evaluate Trump based on his actions rather than his statements.
Relations between Russia and the US remain strained, largely due to Western support for Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Trump's past comments were harsh, but he also expressed a desire for peace.
Peskov stated that it would be difficult for future US administrations to worsen relations, which are already at a historic low. He also dismissed claims of Russian interference in the US elections.
