Krishnagiri orders flagpole removal by April 28

The Krishnagiri district administration has told political parties to remove their flagpoles by April 28. This follows a directive from the High Court. Collector C. Dinesh Kumar held a meeting with party representatives to discuss this matter. The meeting took place at the Collectorate. The High Court's order aims to remove flagpoles from public areas, including municipalities and highways. This includes flagpoles used by political parties, religious groups, and other organizations. If the flagpoles are not removed by the deadline, officials will take them down after giving proper notice. The expenses for the removal will be charged to the parties or outfits that own them. District Revenue Officer A. Sadanaikumar and Hosur Sub Collector Priyanka also attended the meeting.
