KSCDC plans cleaning drive for Kerala's garbage-free initiative

The Kerala State Cashew Development Corporation (KSCDC) is organizing a cleaning drive on March 27. This event is part of a government campaign called Malinya Muktham Navakeralam, which aims to make Kerala a garbage-free state. KSCDC officials say the drive will take place at the KSCDC head office and all 30 factories. The program is meant to continue their green initiatives, focusing on reducing waste and promoting proper waste treatment. On March 30, as part of the 'Ente Bhavanam, Suchithwa Bhavanam' campaign, KSCDC employees will also work on cleaning their homes. This initiative encourages source waste management and aims to promote cleanliness in the community. Around 11,000 employees and workers will participate in the activities. KSCDC chairperson S. Jayamohan will officially open the cleaning drive at Factory No. 2 in Kilikollur.
