Kubota's KATR farm robot wins CES innovation award for autonomous farming
Kubota's new KATR farm robot concept has won the "Best of Innovation" award at the CES Innovation Awards. This compact, four-wheeled robot is designed for autonomous, zero-emission farming and can operate in challenging agricultural and construction environments. The KATR features a stable cargo deck and can carry approximately 285 lbs. It can be powered by either an electric or combustion engine, offering flexibility for users. The robot can be controlled remotely or via an onboard controller. This award follows Kubota's previous electric autonomous tractor, highlighting the company's focus on innovation and sustainability in farming technology. The CES Innovation Awards recognize outstanding products in various categories, with the next event scheduled for January 2025 in Las Vegas.
