Kuwaiti dinar ranks as strongest currency in Asia, leaving yen and yuan off the list

A recent survey by Best Diplomats has identified the ten strongest currencies in Asia, excluding Japan's yen and China's yuan. The Kuwaiti dinar tops the list, valued at 3.26 US dollars, supported by strong government policies and foreign reserves. Following the dinar, the next strongest currencies are the Bahraini dinar, Omani rial, Jordanian dinar, Brunei dollar, Singapore dollar, Azerbaijani manat, Turkmen manat, Israeli shekel, and Saudi riyal. The Bahraini dinar is worth 2.65 US dollars, while the Omani rial is valued at 2.60 US dollars. In contrast, the Japanese yen is currently worth 0.0065 US dollars, and the Chinese yuan is valued at 0.14 US dollars. The rankings reflect currency values as of June 4, 2024.
