Land transferred for industrial estates in Jammu and Kashmir

The Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Choudary, announced the transfer of land for industrial estates in the region. He stated that 14,956 Kanal and 15 Marla of land has been transferred in the Jammu division, while 6,745 Kanal and 19 Marla have been designated in the Kashmir division. Choudary made these remarks on Saturday while addressing a question from Ali Mohammad Dar in the legislative assembly. He also mentioned intentions to acquire an additional 9,661.05 Kanal of land for Jammu and 5,000.13 Kanal for Kashmir for more industrial developments. In addition, the Deputy Chief Minister provided an update on the road infrastructure. He reported that the upgrade of a 15-kilometer road from Vijaypur-Ramgarh to SM Pura is underway and set to be completed by June. Choudary noted that 65 percent of the work has already been finished, and the remaining tasks are being prioritized.
