Lane closure on LA 523 in south Shreveport

A lane will be closed in south Shreveport this Thursday. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that the closure will occur on LA 523 (Line Avenue) near Ashley Ridge Boulevard. This lane will be closed on March 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The closure is needed for workers to install advance warning signage for the nearby railroad crossing. The location is about a quarter-mile north of the LA 3132 interchange. DOTD advises local residents to be cautious while driving, walking, or biking near the construction area.
