Lane closures on San Carlos Boulevard March 23-27

Starting Sunday night, March 23, Fort Myers Beach will see lane closures due to road work. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is updating the San Carlos Boulevard (SR 865). The work will take place from north of Crescent Street to north of the Hurricane Pass Bridge. FDOT is making these improvements to enhance the road for drivers and pedestrians. Residents and visitors are advised to plan ahead and expect delays in this area. The project's goal is to improve traffic flow and safety on San Carlos Boulevard.
