Laremy Tunsil aims to cut penalties in 2024

Laremy Tunsil is determined to cut down on penalties in the upcoming NFL season. Last year, he led the league with 19 penalties while playing for the Houston Texans. Tunsil recently joined the Washington Commanders and spoke about his penalty problems during a media session. He expressed his commitment to improve, stating that the number of penalties he received was "unacceptable." In the 2024 season, Tunsil's penalties included 12 false starts, three illegal formations, two holding calls, one ineligible man downfield, and one unnecessary roughness. Notably, 12 of these penalties occurred in the first four weeks, with six coming in one game against the Vikings. Tunsil sees this as a personal challenge but is focused on his growth as both a pass blocker and a run blocker. He hopes to make significant improvements this year.
