Laysara transforms from town-builder to trading empire simulator
Laysara: Summit Kingdom, a mountain town-building game, has introduced a new feature called Sandbox Mode. This update changes the game from building a single mountain town to managing a trading empire across multiple mountains. In Sandbox Mode, players can switch between different towns and sell goods to other mountain mayors. This addition offers more freedom to players, allowing them to expand their empires and build new temples for research benefits. The game features various challenges based on elevation, such as different vegetation, resources, and the risk of avalanches. Players can use strategies to reduce these risks by fortifying their towns and planting forests. The update also includes new content like six additional mountains and various user interface improvements. Players can even build ice altars in specific maps. The developers aim for Sandbox Mode to give players flexibility in expanding their kingdoms. They also hinted at plans for a campaign mode that will provide more structured objectives and is expected to launch with the game's full release later this year.
