Le Bernardin named top US restaurant for third year in global survey

Le Bernardin in New York City has been named the top U.S. restaurant for the third consecutive year by La Liste, a global dining survey. It shares this honor with Single Thread in California, both receiving a score of 99.50. La Liste, which evaluates restaurants based on media coverage and reviews, is gaining influence, particularly in Europe and Asia. Chef Eric Ripert noted that a significant portion of Le Bernardin's clientele comes from South Korea, Japan, and China. In addition, Daniel Boulud's Maison Barnes received the "Opening of the Year" award from La Liste. This recognition comes as various restaurant awards are announced in December, including Esquire's "Best New Restaurants" list.
