Lee Sung Min and others cast in "True Lesson."

Netflix has announced more cast members for its upcoming drama, "True Lesson." The announcement came on March 20. Lee Sung Min, Jin Ki Joo, and P.O will join Kim Moo Yeol, who was already confirmed as the lead. "True Lesson" is based on a popular webtoon. It focuses on a fictional agency called the Teacher’s Rights Protection Agency. This agency is set up to restore authority for teachers. The show will be directed by Hong Jong Chan, known for "Mr. Plankton" and "Juvenile Justice." The script is written by Lee Nam Kyu, who worked on "Daily Dose of Sunshine." In the drama, Kim Moo Yeol will play Na Hwa Jin, an inspector at the agency. He will tackle various issues in schools, offering a strong sense of justice. He expressed excitement about the project and praised the team for their enthusiasm and dedication. Lee Sung Min will portray Choi Kang Seok, the education minister who starts the agency. He shared his admiration for the writer and director, hoping to create a great production. Jin Ki Joo will take on the role of Im Han Lim, a former special forces soldier who becomes an inspector. She was drawn to the script because it reflects real-world issues combined with a fantasy element. P.O will play Bong Geun Dae, a skilled officer at the agency. He spoke about the importance of the show’s message and his eagerness to learn from the experienced cast and crew. Filming for "True Lesson" is set to start in the first half of 2025.
