Lehigh Valley to experience snow after warm weather
The weather in Lehigh Valley is looking nice for Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will be warm, reaching the mid to upper 60s. However, changes are coming later in the week. A cold front will move in on Thursday, bringing rain in the afternoon and evening. As the front passes, colder air may lead to a few snowflakes, mainly north of I-78. Forecasters do not expect any significant snowfall. After a warm Thursday with a high around 66, temperatures are forecast to drop significantly at night, reaching lows in the low to mid 30s. Winds will become strong on Friday, gusting up to 50 mph in higher areas. The weekend should be calmer, with winds decreasing Friday night. Normal temperatures for this time of year are much lower, ranging from a low of 32 to a high of 52. For updates and alerts, you can check lehighvalleylive.com/weather.
