Leinster House usher Derek Doyle dies in cycling accident in Dublin

Derek Doyle, an usher at Leinster House, died after being hit by a lorry while cycling in Castleknock, Dublin. He was in his 50s and previously served in the Defence Forces. Doyle was married to Fingal County councillor Tania Doyle. Local officials and community members expressed their condolences and paid tribute to him. A vigil was held in his memory, and his funeral is scheduled for December 31 at the Church of the Most Precious Blood in Cabra.
