Leslie Benzies launches open-world game with user-generated content
A new open-world game called "Everywhere" is being developed by Build A Rocket Boy, a studio founded by Leslie Benzies, a former president of Rockstar North. The game promises to offer players a vast environment that includes custom servers and user-generated content, similar to what you find in Roblox and Minecraft. Benzies and his team want the game to be more than just their creation. Adam Whiting, an associate game director at Build A Rocket Boy, explained that players will be able to create their own versions of the game world. This means gamers could set up their own servers with unique themes, like a zombie apocalypse or a completely original storyline. In addition to the open world, Everywhere will also feature a separate game called MindsEye. This component resembles the popular Grand Theft Auto series and includes impressive visuals and action scenes. However, the success of Everywhere may depend largely on how well the user-generated features work. The team hopes that the tools provided for creating content will allow players to build engaging experiences, similar to popular creations seen in Roblox and Minecraft. Fans are eager to see how these ambitious plans will unfold as the game nears its release.
