Less pressure on New Zealand's Liam Lawson at Grand Prix
Scott Dixon, a famous New Zealand motorsport champion, spoke about Liam Lawson's situation in Formula 1. Dixon is supporting Lawson as he prepares for his second race with Red Bull Racing in the Chinese Grand Prix this weekend. Dixon believes that the current state of Red Bull's car means there is less pressure on Lawson. He noted that the team is not as strong as it has been in past seasons. The Red Bull car is also known for being difficult to drive. Dixon stated, “Maybe there’s not as much pressure, because nobody’s saying that it’s the best car out there.” Lawson had a tough start in his debut race in Melbourne last weekend. He faced several technical issues during practice, which affected his speed. He ended up qualifying in 20th place and crashed out of the race. Dixon has been in touch with Lawson and is hopeful for better results in the upcoming race.
