Lesser-known Marvel characters will join game roster
Marvel Rivals is set to include lesser-known characters in its game roster, according to Executive Producer Danny Koo. In a recent interview, Koo discussed how about 70% of the characters will be popular heroes like Iron Man and Captain America. However, the remaining portion will feature more obscure characters to keep the game fresh and exciting. The upcoming heroes include names like Angela, Colossus, Gambit, and Nightcrawler. This diversity in character selection aims to engage players by introducing unique abilities and gameplay styles. Currently, Marvel Rivals features 37 heroes, blending iconic characters with lesser-known ones like Jeff the Land Shark and Magik. Koo emphasized the importance of including these unconventional characters to provide a richer gameplay experience. Information from data miners suggested that more than 20 new heroes, including both popular and unfamiliar faces, are being developed for future updates. This move could enhance the game’s appeal to fans looking for something different beyond the usual favorites.
