Lethbridge Hurricanes celebrate inclusion on World Down Syndrome Day

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are celebrating World Down Syndrome Day in a special way. They are honoring Ryan "Ry Guy" Roznowsky, a dedicated game day assistant. Ryan has been with the team for over a decade and is known for his positive energy and support for players and staff. Kathy Hong, a Hurricanes staff member, expressed the importance of this day. She said, "Having Ry Guy with us for over 10 years, he’s huge for the organization and the guys." To celebrate, the team is encouraging fans to wear mismatched socks. This tradition symbolizes support and inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome. Ryan takes pride in his role and shared his thoughts on the occasion. He stated, "All the people who have Down syndrome are special, and they do their sports the same as I do."
