"Let's Talk" series launches for Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2025-26
The Kochi-Muziris Biennale (KMB) has started its "Let's Talk" series as part of its preparations for the sixth edition in 2025-26. This series includes public discussions that will take place across Kerala. At the first event, held at Kanakakunnu Palace, Nikhil Chopra, the curator for this year's biennale, shared his vision. He emphasized the importance of regional thinking while also connecting to global histories. Chopra highlighted themes of hospitality, care, and the value of solidarity among artists. The event featured an introduction by Bose Krishnamachari, the president of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Mario D’Souza, the director of programmes at the Kochi Biennale Foundation, presented the history of the biennale and its various initiatives. This series aims to engage artists, scholars, and the public in meaningful conversations. It is organized in partnership with the Tourism department of Kerala. The discussions are expected to foster creativity and cultural exchange as KMB 2025-26 approaches.
