LG Display has started mass production of a new 45-inch OLED gaming monitor panel. This panel features a 5K2K resolution, the highest currently available for gaming, with about 11 million pixels. The monitor offers a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and includes a polarizer to reduce glare. It allows users to switch between a 330Hz refresh rate for fast gaming and 165Hz for high-resolution content. LG plans to expand its Gaming OLED range, which will include sizes from 27 to 45 inches, to enhance its presence in the premium gaming display market.
