Liam Lawson to appear at Taupo Historic GP in January 2025

Formula 1 driver Liam Lawson will attend the SIXT Rent A Car Taupo Historic GP on January 12, 2025. He will participate in meet-and-greet sessions as a guest of the Tony Quinn Foundation, which supports young Kiwi drivers. This event marks Lawson's only public appearance in New Zealand this summer. He will meet former Formula 1 stars and support emerging talent in the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship, where he began his racing career. The Taupo Historic GP will feature a large grid of Formula Atlantics and various classic car categories. Tickets are available, with free entry for those aged 16 and under.
