Lidl Ireland to close stores for three days over Christmas holiday

Lidl Ireland will close all its stores on Christmas Day, St Stephen's Day, and New Year's Day. The supermarket will also shorten hours on Christmas Eve, opening from 8 am to 6 pm, and will return to normal hours on January 2. During the festive season, Lidl typically extends hours but will close early on certain days to allow staff breaks. Other Irish supermarkets are expected to announce similar holiday closures in the coming weeks. Starting November 11, Lidl will offer a range of Christmas wrapping supplies, including themed wrapping paper and gift bags, to help customers prepare for the holidays.
