Lightspeed Commerce lowers 2025 revenue growth forecast

Lightspeed Commerce Inc. has lowered its revenue forecast for the 2025 financial year due to worsening economic conditions. The company now anticipates an 18% growth in revenue compared to the previous year. This is a decrease from the earlier expectation of 20% growth. Lightspeed noted that since it announced its third-quarter results on February 6, the overall economic situation has declined. This has led to a drop in same-store sales. Despite the cut in revenue projections, Lightspeed still expects to achieve adjusted earnings of over $53 million for the financial year. The revised outlook will be presented during Lightspeed’s capital markets day at the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
