Lilo actress supports "Snow White" with costume appearance
Disney released its live-action version of Snow White this weekend. The film performed well at the box office, despite some early criticism. Families turned out to see the new adaptation, which features popular actress Rachel Zegler. Maia Kealoha, who plays Lilo in the upcoming live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch, showed her support for Snow White. She visited a local theater dressed as the princess, complete with a tiara and gloves. Her management posted a photo of her outfit on Instagram, which many fans found adorable. In her Instagram story, Kealoha included a clip of a new song from Snow White. The song, titled “Waiting On A Wish,” is performed by Zegler. Fans are excited about the film, and Kealoha likely admired Zegler's performance, just as critics have done. While Snow White faced backlash for several choices made by Disney, excitement for the Lilo & Stitch adaptation appears more positive. The trailer released earlier this month showcased some of the supporting characters, including Jumba and Pleakley, which fans appreciated. It remains to be seen how audiences will react to Lilo & Stitch compared to other recent remakes. Many hope it will receive a warmer welcome than Snow White and The Little Mermaid did. Fans are eagerly waiting for more news about Lilo & Stitch, including ticket sales, and in the meantime, are encouraged to check out Snow White in theaters.
