Lithuanian man killed by tree branch in Phuket

A Lithuanian man died in Phuket after a pine tree branch fell on him while he was riding his motorcycle. The incident happened along Nai Thon Beach Road in Thalang district on Thursday. The 43-year-old tourist was discovered lying still near his damaged motorcycle at around 11:30 AM. Police were alerted by a resident, who reported the accident. Officers arrived quickly and called for an ambulance, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators found that the branch broke off and struck the man’s crash helmet while he was riding. He suffered head injuries and did not survive. His body has been sent to Vachira Phuket Hospital for further examination. Authorities have informed the Lithuanian embassy in Bangkok about the tragic event.
