Łódź, Poland, hosted its first St Patrick's parade yesterday, part of a weekend festival celebrating Irish culture and food. Over 300 attendees enjoyed traditional Irish dishes sourced from Galway. The event was organized by Ivonka Kwiek, a Łódź native living in Galway. She aimed to create a genuine connection with Ireland, moving beyond just serving green beer. The festival received support from Ireland's Embassy in Poland and local councils. Activities included a children's art competition and prizes for the best-dressed attendees, promoting cultural exchange between Poland and Ireland.
