Lok Sabha recordings will be accessible on IndiaAI platform

India's IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that recordings of Lok Sabha debates will soon be available on the IndiaAI Datasets Platform (IDP). This initiative aims to enhance access to public sector datasets and make them ready for artificial intelligence (AI) applications. The announcement was made in Delhi on Tuesday, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the IndiaAI Mission and the Lok Sabha. The IDP is one of seven key components of the IndiaAI Mission, designed to improve the quality and usability of public data. The platform will integrate datasets from various sources and also allow contributions from non-government entities. It is expected to serve as a central hub for accessing datasets, tools, and AI models. The AIKosha platform, launched on March 6, provides a secure repository for datasets and tools aimed at fostering AI innovation. It includes features such as content discoverability, scoring for AI readiness, and strong security measures. Additionally, previous broadcasts from Doordarshan and All India Radio will also be made available to the public. These steps reflect India's commitment to leveraging data for technological growth.
