Lonzo Ball returns to NBA after nearly three years out with knee injuries
Lonzo Ball returned to the NBA after nearly three years out due to knee injuries. In his first game since January 2022, he scored 10 points in 15 minutes during the Chicago Bulls' pre-season win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Ball underwent multiple surgeries, including a cartilage and meniscus transplant in March 2023. He expressed relief at being back on the court, stating he felt good and had no knee issues during the game. He will start the season with a minutes restriction and will not play on back-to-back days. Ball is expected to participate in the Bulls' final pre-season game against the Cleveland Cavaliers before the regular season begins.
