LPGA announces record $131 million prize money for 2025 season
The LPGA announced a record $131 million in prize money for the 2025 season, a $62 million increase since 2021. This marks a 90 percent rise from previous years, with the total prize pool growing from $118 million in 2024. The 2025 season will feature 33 tournaments, including two new events. Sixteen tournaments will have purses exceeding $3 million, and 24 events will provide travel stipends or guaranteed payouts to support lower-ranked players. The LPGA will also introduce three new major venues, including Erin Hills for the U.S. Women’s Open. The five major championships will collectively offer $47 million in prize money.
