Luca Guadagnino named jury president for Marrakech International Film Festival

Luca Guadagnino will replace Thomas Vinterberg as the jury president for the Marrakech International Film Festival. Vinterberg stepped down for family reasons. Guadagnino will lead a jury that includes actors Andrew Garfield and Patricia Arquette. The festival announced a diverse jury featuring directors and actors from various countries. Guadagnino expressed his connection to Marrakech, recalling his first visit over 20 years ago. The 21st edition of the festival will take place from November 29 to December 7 in Marrakech. Guadagnino's new film, "Queer," will be released in the U.S. on November 27.
