Lucknow event celebrated spring with music and Iftar

Lucknow celebrated the arrival of spring with a musical event called 'Rangarang: Spring Reminiscences' on Saturday. The event was organized by Lucknow Bioscope and featured performances by Vaibhav Kaul. Kaul sang a blend of classical and folk music. His performance included verses from famous poets like Kalidasa and Amir Khusrau. He was accompanied by Hayat Hussain Khan, who played the sarangi. Kaul's music captured the spirit of various spring festivals such as Holi, Eid, and Easter. In his remarks, Kaul explained that he is inspired by folk music. He believes it connects people to their cultural heritage. Kaul, who has a diverse background as a geographer and poet, aims to create a cultural mix through his performances. The event also included a potluck called Sanatkada roza iftaar to honor Ramzan. The gathering brought people together, promoting love, prayers, and shared traditions. It reinforced the importance of communal harmony during this special time.
