Lucknow event celebrates women village heads' achievements

Women village heads received recognition for their outstanding work at an event in Lucknow. The program was organized by the panchayati raj department together with the Aspirational Bharat Collaborative. Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar emphasized the importance of education in developing the nation. He stated that united efforts to promote education in panchayats can help India progress significantly by 2047. During the event, a coffee table book titled "Viksit Panchayat-Viksit Bharat" was presented. A documentary called "Panch Naari" was also shown, highlighting the achievements of women leaders. Manmohan Singh, CEO of Aspirational Bharat Collaborative, shared insights about leadership. He noted that true leadership goes beyond positions and involves challenging traditions to drive meaningful change. The initiative celebrates the inspiring journeys of women panchayat heads who are transforming leadership in Uttar Pradesh.
