Lucknow festival honors Bhagat Singh and revolutionaries

Lucknow will host a seven-day festival called Rang De Basanti from March 23 to 29. This event will honor the sacrifices of revolutionary freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. The festival is organized by groups including Dastak, Udaan, and the culture department of Uttar Pradesh. It will kick off on Martyrs Day, March 23, at Sheroes Café at 4 PM. Artists will create live paintings of the martyrs during this time. Musical performances will feature bands like Ziddi Dhun, with singers Mahinder Pal and Kultar. This will enhance the patriotic spirit of the event. An exhibition titled Zara Yaad Karo Qurbani will showcase the lives and struggles of the revolutionaries. Students will also participate through discussions, quizzes, stage plays, and dance dramas at various colleges in Lucknow. A special play about Bhagat Singh's life will be presented by Mother Seva Sansthan on March 27.
