Lucknow Super Giants finalize squad for IPL 2025 after major auction changes

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are preparing for the IPL 2025 mega auction, having released their former captain KL Rahul. They retained five players, including Nicholas Pooran and Ravi Bishnoi, spending ₹51 crore in the retention window. LSG has a budget of ₹69 crore to acquire up to 20 players in the auction. They also hold one Right to Match card. A total of 574 players, including 366 Indians and 208 overseas players, are available for selection. In the auction, LSG acquired Rishabh Pant for ₹27 crore, along with David Miller, Aiden Markram, and Mitchell Marsh. The retained players include Pooran, Yadav, Bishnoi, Khan, and Badoni.
