Lucknow Super Giants made headlines by signing Rishabh Pant for INR 27 crore, the highest amount ever in IPL history, during the auction in Jeddah on November 24. This marks a significant change for the team, which recently released KL Rahul. In addition to Pant, LSG acquired Aiden Markram for INR 2 crore, David Miller for INR 7.5 crore, Mitchell Marsh for INR 3.4 crore, and Avesh Khan for INR 9.75 crore. LSG retained key players including Nicholas Pooran, Mayank Yadav, and Ravi Bishnoi. The IPL 2025 season is set to begin on March 14, 2025, with the final on May 25.
