Lucknow University hosts bicycle rally for historical awareness

Lucknow University is organizing a bicycle rally called ‘cycle yatra’ from March 24 to March 26. The event aims to raise awareness about the historical sites of Lucknow and nearby areas. It is guided by Chancellor and Governor Anandiben Patel. The cycle rally will cover around 160 kilometers. Participants will visit major historical locations in Lucknow and travel through villages linked to the university. The yatra will include discussions with village leaders and performances, like street plays, addressing national issues. The rally will start on March 24 at 8 am from the Vivekanand gate 3 of Lucknow University. It will head to CB Gupta College, passing by Parivartan Chowk, the Residency, and the Bada Imambara. The tour will also stop at Bakshi Ka Talab and the Chandrika Devi Temple. On the final day, the route will take participants to the Kakori train action plan site. The event will conclude with a return to LU gate 2.
