Lucknow University's management department ranked 38th in India

Lucknow University’s Department of Management has achieved a notable milestone by ranking 38th in India in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF). This department, which was previously known as the Department of Business Administration, is also recognized as the top management department among state universities in Uttar Pradesh. The IIRF is a respected ranking system that evaluates more than 5,000 educational institutions across India. This includes universities, engineering colleges, business schools, and specialized institutes in various fields such as law, design, architecture, healthcare, media, and hospitality. Professor Sangeeta Sahu, the dean of the Faculty of Management Studies, highlighted that this ranking demonstrates the department’s commitment to high standards in management education. The department has been influential in management education in India since it was established in 1956. Its MBA program, which began in 1974, has produced around 50 groups of graduates who are well-prepared for the industry. The program remains one of the leading management courses in the country.
