Lucknow's adventure park construction starts next month

The Uttar Pradesh government is set to start building the Kukrail Night Safari and Adventure Park in Lucknow next month. The project comes with a budget of over Rs 1,500 crore. Construction will begin in April, focusing on the first phase, which has a cost of Rs 631 crore. This phase is expected to be completed within 24 months. It will include 38 animal enclosures that will house various species, such as lions, tigers, and bears. The night safari will cover a large area of 34.59 lakh square meters (approximately 855 acres) in the Kukrail forest. Key features of the first phase include a tram service, a 7D theatre, and a veterinary hospital. There will also be a cafeteria and staff residential blocks. In addition, the project will develop essential infrastructure, including roads, footpaths, parking areas, and drainage systems. The Planning Department has prepared a master plan for the project, which will also construct residential blocks for staff and other facilities.
