Luka Modric predicts Kylian Mbappe's future Ballon d'Or wins
Luka Modric believes Kylian Mbappe is destined to win multiple Ballon d'Or awards. The Croatian midfielder praised Mbappe's talent and character after his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid. Modric, who joined Real Madrid in 2012, thinks Mbappe is one of the best players he has ever encountered. Despite winning a FIFA World Cup at just 19, Mbappe has not yet won the prestigious Golden Ball. Modric is confident that will change soon. He remarked, “I’m sure he’ll be one of the favorites to win not just one Ballon d’Or, but several.” The 39-year-old Modric has played alongside many top players, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, and himself won the Ballon d’Or in 2018. He believes Mbappe possesses unique abilities. “He can do things that have never been seen before,” he added. Modric also highlighted Mbappe's impressive personality. He called the young star "humble" and said he is always willing to support his teammates. Even during a season that might not seem his best, Mbappe has scored over 30 goals for Real Madrid. Currently, Mbappe aims to help Real Madrid achieve a treble, competing for La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League. Recently, he scored a hat-trick against Manchester City in a Champions League play-off match. Real Madrid's next game is against Leganes on March 30 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
