Luke Humphries invites bullied autistic fan to darts event
Luke Humphries, a professional darts player, has offered free tickets to a 14-year-old fan with autism, Alex McGarrie, for an upcoming Premier League Darts event. This decision came after news of Alex being severely bullied at school circulated online. Alex, who was attending Hazel Grove High School in Stockport, has recently left school due to the bullying. Humphries learned about Alex's situation through social media and wanted to help bring some joy back into the teenager's life. He has also organized a VIP night out for Alex at the event on April 10 in Manchester. Humphries plans to arrange for Alex to meet other darts stars, including Luke Littler, who is one of his favorite players. He expressed his desire to show Alex that not everyone in the world is negative and hoped to give him a sense of hope. In his statement, Humphries emphasized the importance of supporting those who face bullying. He mentioned that he wants to help Alex have a special experience that money cannot buy. The Premier League Darts event will take place at the AO Arena in Manchester.
