M62 crash near Rochdale causes three-mile traffic delays
Drivers are experiencing significant delays on the M62 near Rochdale due to a crash. Two lanes are closed on the eastbound side between junctions 19 and 20. Traffic is backed up for about three miles. National Highways reports that it is taking around 30 minutes for traffic to clear. A spokesperson mentioned that traffic officers are on their way to the scene to assist. The collision has also caused delays on nearby motorways, including the M60 and M61. Traffic is slow in both directions as many vehicles pass by the crash site. One lane has since reopened, but drivers are still advised to expect long waits.
