macOS 15.4 introduces new features for Mac users

Apple is testing macOS Sequoia 15.4, with a public launch expected soon. This update will bring several new features to Mac users. One major change is the redesign of Apple Mail. This update will sort your inbox into categories like Primary, Transactions, Updates, and Promotions. Users can choose to disable these categories or switch to an All Mail view. The app will also group emails from the same sender into a ‘Digest view,’ making it easier to manage your messages. Another useful feature is a new timer for verification codes in the Apple Passwords app. This visual timer will show how much time is left before a verification code expires. It will appear in the menu bar app when viewing a login with a verification code. Mac users will also benefit from the Quick Start feature. This allows for easy setup of new devices by scanning an animation on a compatible iPhone or iPad. The same feature will now be available on Mac, simplifying the setup process. Lastly, macOS 15.4 will enhance Apple Intelligence by adding support for new languages. These include French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese. It will also introduce localized English for users in India and Singapore. Overall, macOS 15.4 will bring these exciting new features ahead of the expected macOS 16 announcement in June.
