Madhuri Dixit endorses Rasha Thadani for "Ek Do Teen."
Madhuri Dixit, the famous Indian actress, has shared her thoughts on who could recreate her iconic song "Ek Do Teen." She believes that Rasha Thadani, the daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, would be a great choice for a remake. Rasha made her acting debut in the recent film "Azaad," where she received praise for her performance and danced in the popular song "Uyi Amma." At the IIFA Green Carpet event, Madhuri complimented Rasha's graceful dancing and confidently named her as the best candidate for any future version of "Ek Do Teen." The original "Ek Do Teen" song was part of the 1988 film "Tezaab," which launched Madhuri's career. Anil Kapoor starred alongside her in the movie, directed by N Chandra. The song was famous for its energy and has been remade before, including versions for the films "Baaghi 2" and "Desi Magic" in 2018, which featured different performers. Rasha starred in "Azaad," which tells a story set in pre-Independence India about the bond between a young man and a horse. Despite the film's heartwarming themes of love and loyalty, it did not perform well at the box office, earning about ₹6.35 crore in total so far.
