Madhya Pradesh reaches Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final led by captain Rajat Patidar's explosive batting
Madhya Pradesh (MP) has reached the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final for the first time since 2010-11. Captain Rajat Patidar played a crucial role, scoring 66 not out off 29 balls in the semi-final against Delhi. Patidar has been in strong form, amassing 347 runs in the tournament with a strike rate of 182.63. He has hit 21 sixes in eight innings, continuing his success from the IPL, where he was retained by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for INR 11 crore. MP will face Mumbai in the final on December 15. Patidar previously scored 122 against Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy final in 2022, which he believes will give his team confidence.
