Mafia: The Old Country set for summer 2025 release in Sicily

2K Games will release a new game in the Mafia series, titled Mafia: The Old Country, in summer 2025. Set in early 1900s Sicily, it will explore the origins of organized crime. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The first trailer, shown at The Game Awards, features dramatic scenes and introduces a new protagonist named Enzo. He rises from a difficult childhood in sulfur mines to join Don Torrisi's crime family, facing challenges along the way. The Mafia series began in 2002 and has had long gaps between releases. Mafia: The Old Country will mark an eight-year wait since the last installment, Mafia III, which was released in 2017.
